The bipolar recovery journey involves learning the behavioral skills needed to live a full, healthy, stable, and meaningful life. Coaching is a hands on process that supports managing the daily challenges of living with bipolar disorder. My coaching services provide the skills training needed to support teens and adults living with bipolar disorder achieve and sustain recovery while offering support and education to family, friends, and caregivers in the process.

About Us

Christopher Mulligan LCSW has been working with children, teens, and adults with Bipolar Disorder for the past thirty years in a variety of clinical settings, including residential and outpatient. Christopher has focused on providing coaching services for the past ten years in his private practice. Bipolar coaching involves teaching the behavioral skills that are needed to effectively manage the daily challenges of living with a mood disorder. Christopher provides individual and family coaching, family therapy, and support and psychoeducation groups for teens and adults. Christopher attended Sarah Lawrence College, where he received his BA in psychology and philosophy in 1984. Christopher went on to study philosophy of science at The New School for Social Research from 1985 to 1987. Christopher proceeded to earn his MSW from USC in 1992 and wrote his thesis on childhood mood disorders. Christopher is also the Clinical Director of the OCD and Anxiety Clinic at Psychological Care and Healing Treatment Center located in West Los Angeles.
